I finally have pics to post. This is a black and white version of 3 Bean Salad. I am really pleased with how it turned out. It took over a year to find all the garden themed fabrics and then pick the pattern.
She likes it so much, she keeps it in a plastic comforter bag and won't use it because she's afraid to get it dirty. :D The back is a cool fabric with zodiacs and clocks etc. Will have to get pics of that some other time. |
absolutely fabulous! :P

That is so lovely, you should be very proud. What a time you must of had locating all those black and white fabrics :) , they can be quite hard to find

Great quilt, Wendy, I used the sunflower material for backing for a blk and white I did. Have never seen the 3 bean salad, have to try that one.

Three bean salad has never looked so good to these eyes. Fantastically graphic and yet beautifully simple!! Great job. Two thumbs up!!

WOW! I love that one!
I don't think I've seen "3 Bean Salad" before. It looks great - it was definitely worth the year's wait! sue |
Three Bean Salad is in the Leisure Arts book "Wild About Flowers" if you want to make one. It was very fast and easy.
Thanks for all the complements! |
I knew a B&W quilt would be stunning, I'm currently collecting for one myself, hope it turns out that good. Mine is not a salad or beans, it's called Road to Freedom by Patrice Johnson. Hope to have a picture soon of some of the blocks.
