Cassandra, that is Really Pretty. I am sure she will love it. I enjoy how soft and enveloping it looks like it will be.

thanks for all the kind words. i am hoping she will love it. i am also making her a throw pillow to match so she will have a pillow and quilt.

Love the colors. What size are your centers? I am wanting to make a log cabin with larger center so I can applique something there. Barb C

I just finished blocks for a log cabin quilt for hubby. Have you decided how you are going to quilt it? I am thinking of sandwiching and machine quilting each block individually and then joining the blocks together already quilted. I think it will be much easier to manage and machine quilt that way. I am also considering using a couple fabrics for the back to make it more interesting. What are your thoughts?

i havent figured out how i am going to quilt it yet. cant decide what to use for backing. i thought about flece but not sure how well that would work.
if i go with 100% cotton fabric as backing i think im going to stich in the ditch to quilt it. this is my first quilt so any suggestions would be great as i am not sure what the best way to do it is either
