Any suggestions on why the back is so bumpy looking?

I do but it took me forever!!!!! I decided it was to hot to hand quilt during the summer so I put it off until it got colder then I got a job and now I'm never home. But I DID IT before summer again :lol: .

I have now started a yellow brick road.

I think "bumpy" is a preferred look! Your quilt is gorgeous. Such fine workmanship. I've also heard quilitng referred to as "crinkly goodness." I think you achieved that! :D Make more!
