I took a class for this quilt , The instructor did not think my material would work, it was different size blocks, but I think it turned out OK.

oldhag 10-02-2010 05:52 AM

It turned out better than OK!!!! I bet that instructor learned something from you that day.

cjomomma 10-02-2010 05:58 AM

Turned out great, you did a good job. I've learned not to listen when some ppl tell me something won't work. I'm one of those trial and error kind of quilters. Just cause it won't work for someone else doesn't it won't work for me. I think your choice worked great.

luvTooQuilt 10-02-2010 06:04 AM

I think it looks just fine.. good Job..

Very pretty. Just goes to show that we need to listen to our inner quilter and not what others may think. The colors are so calming.

Always think outside the box & be original. Anybody can make one like the directions say or the instructor says, but the uniqueness of one with a slight of even major variation...now that's a quilter artist. I think this one is better than great because it's your design.

tdgiffin 10-02-2010 09:54 AM

It looks very pretty. :-)

kwiltkrazy 10-02-2010 09:55 AM

I thought the name "Stack & Wack" not particularly interesting but saw one done in St Cloud, Minn so I tried one. So very very fascinating!!!! I loved how mine turned out. Actually got the material at Ben Franklin's in Minn. for less than $5.00 and ended up with a 45" by 45" It's addicting!!

calicocat 10-04-2010 03:28 AM
