I'm posting my first picture. I hope this works! I took a class at the Viking Sewing Center, during which I made my third quilt, which is called Fantasia by Joen Wolfrom Designs. As you can see, it is a log-cabin-based design. It doesn't look like the fabrics go together in the picture but there is teal in the squiggly looking fabric. I still need to add the small and large borders. I'm trying to decide which teal to use as the small border. I have them laying next to each other.

I love it. Nice work! I like the top teal thin boarder better than the more detailed one below. IMO.

I think it's beautiful!

WOW!! Great job
This is just your third quilt??? Love it :!: :!: :!: |
That is beautiful! I love log cabins, and I agree with QuiltingGrannie, the top teal looks perfect for the narrow border!

Thanks for the nice comments. The top teal is the one I was thinking of using. What's the saying, all great minds think alike. lol

Very pretty.
It's so hard to see the actual colors of the inner border fabric from a digital photo, but I was actually leaning toward the lower one in the photo. The lighter looking one. I thought it made a nicer transition from the pale lilac colored fabrics to the darker purple outer border. |
Lovely!
