I'm posting my first picture. I hope this works! I took a class at the Viking Sewing Center, during which I made my third quilt, which is called Fantasia by Joen Wolfrom Designs. As you can see, it is a log-cabin-based design. It doesn't look like the fabrics go together in the picture but there is teal in the squiggly looking fabric. I still need to add the small and large borders. I'm trying to decide which teal to use as the small border. I have them laying next to each other.

I love it. Nice work! I like the top teal thin boarder better than the more detailed one below. IMO.

That is beautiful! I love log cabins, and I agree with QuiltingGrannie, the top teal looks perfect for the narrow border!

Thanks for the nice comments. The top teal is the one I was thinking of using. What's the saying, all great minds think alike. lol

    Very pretty.

It's so hard to see the actual colors of the inner border fabric from a digital photo, but I was actually leaning toward the lower one in the photo. The lighter looking one. I thought it made a nicer transition from the pale lilac colored fabrics to the darker purple outer border.

    Very lovely.

I'd lean towards the lower (lighter) border because you've used the lighter teal next to the white areas in the rest of the quilt as well. So you'd be picking up on that theme again.

The brighter colors with the teal are actually raspberry. Here is a more close-up picture

    Beautiful quilt!
I'm with the others on the top teal being the border.
    It pulls it all together!

That is beautiful. I love the way you can lay a log cabin block out in so many ways. Great job.

I agree. I'm working on my fourth log cabin right now; blue and teal for my son.
