my WIPS are out of control

I started gathering then up and getting backs ready for the quilt tops-oh my.this is the downstairs pile-there is more upstairs.this pile is 2 ft tall.9 queens,5 laps ,5 baby tops and about 30 runners and toppers.I must hoard WIPS,LOL.I am quilting them now until I run out of batting.I have another pile like this upstairs that I did not do the backs for yet.I feel embarrassed and liberated at the same time.I have spent a long time piecing without quilting this year-time to change that.I will post quilts as they are quilted.

It's easy for those tops to sneak up on us. LOL Look at it this way, now you're ready for Christmas, birthdays, baby showers, etc. Looking forward to seeing them quilted.

Wow, that's a lot. I get nervous if I have to many piled up.
|
Well , it definately time for getting the stack reduced... Be determined!
|
Can hardly wait to see your finishes. My pile is probably as big or biggeer than yours. I'm working slowly on mine, too.
|
Well now you've got me curious what all those tops look like. Can't wait to see them as you get them quilted.
|
I didn't think anyone had me beat - but you do
I only have a few more than 40 - all of mine are bed quilts |
That's a GREAT stack of loving and caring tops. Consider backing tops with tops for a reversible quilt and cut the pile quickly. That's what I do and they are doublely wonderful.
|
You can either think of them as work undone, or work half done!
To me, they are standby quilts. If you need a quilt in a hurry, you have a stash on standby, already half (or 3 quarters) done. |
I can hardly wait to see the finished quilts, I love looking at your work. Happy sewwwing and quilting.
