Wanted to share with you my second scrappy. I posted another quilt called "Up North" maybe two weeks ago. Well this is what I made from the majority of left over fabrics, so this is it's little sister. This is another Thimbleberries pattern called "Northern Reflections". I chose not to add the additional wide boarder to it. The colors in the top are a bit washed out from the camera's flash. Also, the backing is a soft green pattern which really doesn't show up too well either. It was long arm quilted by a local lady, Betty Sue. The panto she used was called "leap frog". I plan to give this to an old, dear friend in a month or so. I've really gotten attached to it's scrappy, cozy little self and am tempted to keep it. Thanks for taking the time to look. |
I love it. Can see why you are attached to it.

Love it! I want to try!

I like it alot. I sympathize with wanting to keep it. Some of the toughest quilts for me to part with have been scrappies.
