Hi everyone!

This is my second quilt and I need some opinions. As you can see from the picture, the quilt is quite dark. The sashing with cornerstones has been sewn on everything except the sides. As you can see, the top and bottom cornerstones are blue (the sides will be blue as well).

I want to brighten up this quilt and have limited amount of colorful t-shirt scraps. Also, the back of the quilt will be done is MSU material which is white and green. With that being said, any ideals?

I don't have any opinions but I like it, I think when you put the sides on in blue I think you said it will brighten it up...good job...

I think your quilt looks great now, I can't think of anyway to improve it.

Thank you! The pieced blocks were from the shirts and are the same colors as the Italian flag which is her heritage. So I thought it would be cool to add them...:-)

I agree - the sides will brighten up just right. I think it's perfect.

Actually, the sides will have the cornerstones in blue. I'm wondering if that will be enough to brighten it up. Hmmm...maybe a matching blue border?
