Hello,
My friend Sherrie & I worked on this Patriotic quilt together to be raffled this year. The proceeds will help pay for packages to be sent to the troops @ Christmas. Say hi to Sherrie everyone! :D She is the one who told me about this quilting board. She reads the quilters message board everyday but I haven't been able to talk her into posting yet. Sherrie got this pattern from a 2008 Best of Quilting - Block & Pattern- a- Day Calandar. The Original pattern is called Celebrate America Quilt by Debby Kratovil 2005. We changed some of the blocks a little as Sherrie has an embroidery machine & a nice eagle pattern. I ended up changing the pinwheel due to a miscalculation on my part & since I didn't want to start the blocks over...I extended the block. We also increased the size of our blocks from 5" to 10" for a larger finished quilt. |

Hi Sherrie! Hope you join in! Thanks for bringing us Pam!
This is a beautiful quilt and I really like how you "fixed" the pinwheel block! Now you should name it, because you came up with that and it really is pretty! |
Celeste...I just figure someone else has probably already adjusted a pinwheel block that way before me. I probably just need to "find" the name?? LOL
