Here's the latest back from the quilter.
I put this together last week as a thank-you for my Aunt. She is catering and planning my graduation party, today. (it got here just in time) I was able to work with the fabric I had.... I could have added another row of 9patches, but didn't have any more sashing. I think I ended up with about 8 inches!!!! Now... what do do with the 7 9patches that didn't make it into this quilt? |
Lovely make some shams using the extra pieces? or a throw pillow.
7 nine-patches = seed blocks for your next quilt, of course! <g>
That'a a really cool thank you :!:
Good job. Has the look of an old traditional quilt!
Join four as you have them rotated in the quilt, but leave out the sashing and see if a secondary star pattern forms. Make a pillow. Or use for a tote bag.
Very nice! The colors looks really good together! You could make potholders with the remaining.
I love your quilt. What a great way to say thank you.
How pretty! How about a pillow with the leftover patches?
love your quilt what a great way to show how you appreciate your aunt
