I started this one shortly after doing the one for K-M, my oldest. I have to press it and do the boarders yet. I bought the batting for it yesterday. I am trying to decide if I should make up a few more tops and then quilt them all one right after the other. That way I will get more familiar with loading them on the table without a big break in between.

Is that applique on those blocks? If so, it's pretty!

That is beautiful, you will be so happy with it once it is quilted. Sounds like you have a new quiltind machine. You will learn to love it I am sure and putting the quilts in will soon be second nature to you. Really!!!! Good Luck.

The one block is embroidered, the pattern came free when I put in a different order through emblibrary.com The good thing about the embroidery machine is you can do other things while it is working, I did a lot of the other square while it was doing it's thing, just took time out to rehoop the fabric every once in a while, it only being one color gave me lots of time.

My quilting machine is new, I have done only one quilt on it. So I am probably going to have to watch the video again before getting the quilt on, that is why I am thinking if I get a few done and do then back to back it will ingrain the process in my brain. Good thing I have lots of fabric and ideas running around in my head. though I wouldn't mind someone else coming out and with more tops to practice with. Even if it is just to watch them.

Very nice!!! I love what you did with those blocks - applique? :-)

I'm thinking yes....do up some tops, then quilt, quilt, quilt. Practice and repeating is good.

Looks beautiful. The embroidery just sets if off. Have fun learning and using your new quilting machine.
