This just gives you an idea of what this quilt is going to look like. I love the color combinations. It's the Orion Star quilt from Thangles. I discovered I'm a whole lot less than fond of Thangles and used a thing called a Gizmo to mark the HSTs. Each picture is four of the blocks just laid together. When I put the blocks together I'll try not to put two of the same fabrics together.

Pretty! I would call this = "fruit salad" because there is lemon, orange, tangerine, and mango with a hint of berry!

this looks like the Hunters star pattern? A friend of mine showed me the instructins and how she was taught in a class... I made one block as a sample to see if I could do and if I would be interested in makin something larger. I liked how it came together. So my thought is to pick out a better color combo then I did the sample with and maybe just make a wall hanging and then save it after completion with some other things that I make over he spring and summer for Christmas gifts or donations to one of the Animal Rescues that runs little auctions to earn money.

Your colors are stunning. And it really adds a lot of happiness in the way you use colors.

It's actually the Thangles Orion star pattern. It's very similar to the hunter's star. The blocks are kind of slow to put together but I hope to have it together by the middle of next month. I've got a lot to do this week and I'll be gone this weekend.
