First a great big Texas THANK YOU to all of you wonderful folks who replied to my cry for help when I realized I had just pieced a red/white quilt without pre-washing the fabric. Three color catchers and a good dose of vinegar, and there was no bleeding fabric with washing.
Second, mount up before you gallop by these pictures. I went to the www.DayStyleDesign.com site, and that sweet little lady made her FMQing look so easy. All I can say is..."I tried" :D Third, my SIL came by today and we whipped up this reversible table topper for the shindig at her house tomorrow. Millie, the inspector approves. Great job! I was so hoping it would wash well. I learned something too! I hate prewashing fabric!

your quilt and topper |
Love it! Glad the color catchers worked for you, I never pre-wash my fabrics and always use a color catcher in first two washes, if giving quilt as a gift I include a color catcher with instructions.
