You will get lots of enjoyment out of your new machine. I told my DH how you cut out a wall and pushed the table through a window. I was chuckling as I told him, he hasn't gone to those extremes for me yet! Enjoy your quilting time.

A1 was the first longarm I encountered at a quilt show, and I guess I imprinted like a duckling...it's the only brand I want. But I do understand it's really "up there" in quality. My question is are all the longarm frames this heavy and hard to place? Or is it just A1 and why?

HI Leigh... I cant speak to the other frames other than what I saw. and honestly I dont remember much about any of them except this one and the Innova is also very sturdy; probably not as heavy. I dont know how the others actually build their frames, and how they pack them. the table on this A1 is one solid piece of wood and steel, 12ft long. That is the heaviest part. But nice thing is....the reps set them up. I helped a little (not much) but my rep and her assistant (hottie son) were fantastic. I cant tell you the hours she has spent with me throughout the whole ordeal. She is a true professional.
