just too adorable for words!!!!

Wish I had more fish fabric..someone had given me a small piece for my postcards for my granddaughter and I could squeak out a snap bag from it....

I love the shape of these and the purpose. We are doing them at our retreat on Labor Day. I did a bunch for gifts last Christmas.

Those are too cute! I'm not much of a bag maker, but I think even I could do some of those. Thanks for the pics & the link to the blog instructions.
Now to find some metal tape measures... :D

these are so neat! I'm going to look for some tape measures next time I'm at a dollar store! Thanks for posting. Do you cut your ziplock bags for the lining? Probably a silly question, but I'm having trouble visualizing!! Thanks for posting the tutorial info too!

Wow... I'm amazed at how clever people are at re-purposing things. I must have tossed more than one tape measure with a broken spring. The ones in the house are used all the time, so I can't cannibalize them.

I've made these also. The instructions I had were a little different but all comes out the same way. I use mine to put my rotary cutter, scissors, etc for when I got to my sewing classes.

Most of them I lined also with plastic zip lock bags so they will be good for snacks or cosmetics etc

Thanks for the pics, I'm going to make these for dog training, to keep smelly treats in.Now all I have to do is find the metal closures somewhere on line. Any ideas where?
Forgot to look before posting, it uses an actual tape measure. Even better. Two plumbers and a builder as son/soninlaws, they break ém regularly.
