Southwest flare: Los Cruces - finished

A few months ago I posted a work in progress and I finally finished it. I quilted this myself on my Janome 7700 FMQ style. Here is a link to the previous post: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...s-t207825.html.Me with a quirky smile. And yes I'm in a winter jacket and my PJs.

This is a stunning quilt. If you ever get tired of it (unlikely, I agree) send it my way.

What a fabulous quilt - colours, design and quilting. You should be very proud of it. Is it your own design?

Wow that is incredible!! Beautiful!! Fantastic job.

Love that quilt. Went to their site and they had three lovely patterns for free download. I downloaded Enchanted Journey. I have questions about cross hatching. How do you start and stop each line? Do you take really small stitches, backstitch, or tie it on the back or what? You did a great job and would appreciate any info you can give me about this because I have been wanting to try it but wasn't sure how to do it. Thanks in advance.
