Hi, And yes it is from her book. It's all about the fabric. The design in the fabric has to have the right amount of background to make the other part POP. The orientals are beautiful. You can't use a samesize allover print for this. Of course, The colors are just as important. Picking out the 2 alternating fabrics is much harder to find after you get your main fabric. For this quilt I traveled to 4 different quilt shops to get the pink and gold fabric. You can't see it because it wasn't attached at the time of the photo is a muted dark avacodo green with randomly placed teeny gold dots. It brings out the green ferns in the main fabric and pulls the whole quilt together. You have no idea how happ and proud I am of this quilt.
