I looked through a couple of books I have. The lightest pink looks a little like a block called "waste not", but I couldn't find anything that had all the elements in it. It may be an original block by her. It sure worked up, with your help, into a beautiful quilt. I'm sure your friend will love it.

Beautiful Quilt! I really like the pinks, white and yellows you chose and the dark was the perfect touch :D Wonderful Job :D :D :D
What about if you name your quilt your friends name + star?
