Stepped on my ironing board and broke it.
 

I found this idea and thought I would give it a try. I had a wooden T.V. tray in a closet that had never been used. I actually inherited it from my son when he moved back temporarily from the Air Force. My quilt area is upstairs. My ironing board is downstairs. I previously had a small portable ironing board upstairs, until I accidently stepped on it. It cracked in half. ;) I don't think I have to worry about stepping on this one. This will really come in handy when piecing quilts. Can't wait to use it.

It is a very neat idea. I've seen it done before, but yours is much nicer looking.

Seems quilters can improvise with just about anything! Good work!

wonderful idea i'll have to have me one of those to set by my chair so i don't have to get up to go iron.

How do you step on an ironing board? lol.
