Okay, now tell us how you did it in easy step by step instructions even the computer challenged (me) might be able to do. Cute gingerbread boys!

Well, first, you have to have the photos already loaded on to the Ipad or Iphone.

You can download photos to your Ipad that have been emailed to you. If you use your ipad or Iphone to take the photo, it will already be on the Ipad/Iphone.

When you open a new thread on the Quilting Board, click "Manage your Attachments". You will find this prompt further down in the opened thread. Just scroll down to see it.

The prompt will give you the option to take a picture with your Ipad or Iphone or to choose a picture from the device. Find that photo and click on it. It will upload . Once it has uploaded, the window will prompt you to "Close the Window". Success!!

Give a try!

Sandy

Congrats on the success.

It really does look like the pic is upside down though; you can tell from the perspective in the picture. (You've got to love how the iPad "helps" you decide which way is up, don't you!)

Tartan 10-15-2012 11:52 AM

Sandy I took a stab at it and I posted a picture titled "test" in pictures. I edited to add the text because I didn't think it would work for me, IT DID! In future do you put in the text before going to manage attachments or after? Thanks a million!

Hey.. Congrats! It does not matter if you upload the photo first or not. I tend to upload first and then add the text since i get ahead of myself and post then remember to add my photo. Once you close the window, just scroll back up and you will find the text box. No need to come back to "edit" but do what makes sense for you.

I' m not seeing the perspective.....the runner does not have a right side...there is not a direction to it. Whtever.

Hope u don't mind me testing my picture. How funny. It looks like only half the pix loaded

Tartan 10-15-2012 07:51 PM

Great looking quilt! I think there is a set size for pictures maybe it was over? The main thing is YOU DID IT!

barking-rabbit 10-15-2012 09:28 PM

When I try this on my iPad, I don't have te option to take a picture. It just has a button to upload from my computer.

gingergrandma 10-16-2012 12:20 AM

Ohhh! It's ginger's, I collect gingerbread anything. Love it.

I do have the original iPad. That mat make a difference. I use a photo bucket app to post pictures here.

I have the Ipad before the last release. It does give me the option to take a picture or upload an existing pic.

What an easy runner and from iPad it is easy once you figure it out and sending pic by email is easy as well.

DEBRAK , why is it upside down? The longest looking side is towards the camera which is the correct way.

Yes to all but no idea about upgrade but the apps will upload a new version or better. Some craftsy projects although good are apparently just for the iPad therefore smaller. I also find it difficult to save items. O ly thing I found is save image which put it in pictures. Note pad if you copy does not include pictures.

Thanks in advance

DotttyMo, who knows why some people see the pic upside down while it looks fine to others. Perhaps it depends on what device the photo was upoaded from and what device one is viewing the Board from. crzy isn't it??
