Today I finally got some pictures of my Mum with the wallhanging I made for her birthday!!

I know she SAID on the phone that she loved it...but that smile proves it to me!!!!

Some of you will remember seeing this one in the making.....

I have a plant just about that color.......it has taken a long time, it seem to grow very slow. Your mom sure looks happy in that picture. You must miss her being so far away :D

Oh I do Ruth...BUT she is coming over with my sister on Wednesday for a weeks holiday - yippee!!

What plant is it ruth??

Minda - the whole of the top was stabilized with a product that is self adhesive and repositional called filmoplast. I did a normal binding on the edges. The 3D flowers were also made with filmopast, I stuck it down on fabric then used bondaweb and ironed it to the back of the flower fabric, then drew the flower and satin stitched right around the edge, then cut it out. :D
