I have not posted anything for a while and though this is not done yet I thought I would post a picture of the quilt top anyway.
My husband's name is Angel and this will be for him when it is done. I brought my first Jelly Roll with the idea to make him his own quilt. He has watched me work for hours for my family and never asked me to make him anything. When I showed him the materials I picked out and told him this was going to be for him he was so pleased and even got involved picking out a pattern he liked. I was surprised, I never thought he was interested.
I just finished the top, have to wait to get the batting so I can get this finished but that will not be in until March (it is summer here and they do not carry the batting I use except in the fall and winter). I will post pictures of the finished quilt when I finally get it done.

I like that pattern! What is it called? I'm sure your hubby is going to love using that quilt!

Very Nice.... Love all the colors you used in this. I am working on a quilt kind of similar to this, but I'm using up all my scrappy strips. Did you use YOUR scrappy strips, or did you have to cut all these up?

Very, very nice!

Beautiful quilt, it will be even prettier (oops, handsomer!) when it is quilted.

That's really lovely!! I'm curious about what pattern that is, too. I love the fabrics you two picked.

Love, love, love the colors and the effect. Also curious about the pattern name.
