I gave it a try using the small Twister Template. It's a lot of work! I had some 6" squares and thought I would use those before I bought fabric to make one.

I didn't know twisters were that hard to do. I like your colors. Nice job. This is on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing.

I like what you did. I just bought the small twister, but like you I thought it was a lot of work. I like the more simple patterns that looks complicated :)

Yours is really cute. I almost bought the twister rulers last week. Is it really that hard?

It's very pretty. Now that it's done and looks so neat, I bet you'll do another one.

I think you're right. As I'm making the quilt.....sew the squares together, sew on the border, cut them apart, re-sew the squares together, re-border.....it is a lot of work, and it's true that what you end up with is a lot smaller than what you started out with...but when I see the end result, I can't help but see the possibility in another and another. I don't know, maybe I've gotten a bit lazy in what I expect from piecing a quilt....we all want that instant gratification with our quilting tools!! I do plan on making a bed sized quilt for my nephew.....and will be using the large size ruler for that. I can't imagine trying to keep all of those small sized piles of blocks straight.
