I have learnt so much during the making of this sampler quilt...it has been a journey to remember :D
I started off making the blocks all by hand in the English paper piece style, then progressed to machine piecing, foundation piecing and applique. I have stitched in the ditch, echo quilted and free motioned!! I made the templates for the swags and hearts border myself, as this quilt just evolved without any patterns to follow....phew!!!!! Tonight we will sleep under it :-) |
