UFO completion for the day

Well, yesterday I sandwiched three quilts. I just finished FMQing this one this morning, but have decided I need to do some more outline stitching. I usually stitch three rows, what do you think. More quilting? Have another one about 1/2 quilted.

Probably more quilting, yes. I really like the plaids you've used here, and the design and colors. I usually pass the plaids up in the remnant bins, but can see that they can be used easily.

Quilting should enhance the piece, right? ...then i think you are right on target with what you have done already.

I love your quilt...but I would add more quilting, it will pop your applique

It looks nice as it is but if you wanted to add more quilting, I would put in a stipple to match the background fabric. White thread would blend in and would add quilting but not take away from the design.

I think just a bit more quilting in the plaid would do it you have time. I don't think it would sag with what you have done, but over time, it might, if it were hanging.

Congrats on getting 3 ufos layered. That's the part I always dread. Your applique is very nice and I agree with some of the others who suggested a little stippling to show it off. Thanks for sharing.

It looks fine to me but if you wanted the applique to show more you could add more quilting. Great job.

It is a darling quilt. I love the plaids and stripes. You asked the wrong person about more quilting. I love to quilt so I say the more the better. You could have it covered heavily and I would still say that.
