    UFO completion for the day

Well, yesterday I sandwiched three quilts. I just finished FMQing this one this morning, but have decided I need to do some more outline stitching. I usually stitch three rows, what do you think. More quilting? Have another one about 1/2 quilted.

Probably more quilting, yes. I really like the plaids you've used here, and the design and colors. I usually pass the plaids up in the remnant bins, but can see that they can be used easily.
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

Quilting should enhance the piece, right? ...then i think you are right on target with what you have done already.

I also think the amount of quilting is just right as is. I love it!

Very pretty. More or less quilting is up to you.

I love your quilt...but I would add more quilting, it will pop your applique

It looks nice as it is but if you wanted to add more quilting, I would put in a stipple to match the background fabric. White thread would blend in and would add quilting but not take away from the design.

Thanks Tartan, like your idea. I keep looking at the quilt and think I will give that a try.

I think just a bit more quilting in the plaid would do it you have time. I don't think it would sag with what you have done, but over time, it might, if it were hanging.

I think it's perfect as it is! Less is definitely more and this is such a pretty quilt!

Congrats on getting 3 ufos layered. That's the part I always dread. Your applique is very nice and I agree with some of the others who suggested a little stippling to show it off. Thanks for sharing.

It looks fine to me but if you wanted the applique to show more you could add more quilting. Great job.

I love it. I think more quilting would detract from the pattern and applique which is so lovely!
