vintage doily mini quilt
 

Here's a mini quilt I made using a vintage doily:

That's a wonderful idea. My MIL made some lovely crotcheted doilies for me......hmmm.

Delightful. My grandmother used to make doilies, now I wish I had a couple so I could use them to make a wonderful mini quilt. What a wonderful way to display something so precious.

I used linen...I love to work with linen. I think this was a brown French General linen.
