    vintage doily mini quilt

    That's a wonderful idea. My MIL made some lovely crotcheted doilies for me......hmmm.

    Delightful. My grandmother used to make doilies, now I wish I had a couple so I could use them to make a wonderful mini quilt. What a wonderful way to display something so precious.

    Great re-purposing of a vintage doily! Love the contrast of the doily against the brown fabric and the large stitching surrounding the doily. Thanks for sharing.

    Very neat! I love the binding you chose as well as the stitching and neutral background. It's just all so perfect together.

    Great job and lovely mini! Have seen this done before and a great way to showcase a nice doily. Love the dramatic binding that says 'take a look at this mini!'

    I used linen...I love to work with linen. I think this was a brown French General linen.
