What a beautiful wall hanging! I love the way the pansies "POP!!" It's gray & rainy here today, but your pansies just brightened the day :D
Thanks for sharing Vicki  |
Very pretty! I'm not a big applique person (mostly because I don't really know how very well :) ) But I love yours. It's so cheerful looking!

Thanks for the kind words. Its sunny and mild in Raleigh oday--to be cold (40's) and raining tomorrow and Friday--might need my long johns! I think I'd like to make a pillow too--to go with the pansy lap quilt that I gave my aunt last summer. We'll see.

Love the colors you have chosen!
Your house seems so familiar to me. I am originally from Asheville, NC and visit my aunt that lives in Sylva, NC. Your house reminds me of one that I pass when visiting her and I have always admired it. I now live in Tx and so when I see it, it reminds me of home and the many sweet memories of my aunt. |
The house in in Yancey County, just about 15 miles from Burnsville on Bald Mountain Rd. The tiny commuity is called Bee Log. I have seen the sign for that town, but cn't say I ever remeber going through it. But I bet your aunt would rember this tiny little community. They have an elementary school with about 50 students and 10 tachers! The older kids are bussed into Burnsville.
