So, here it is. Thanks to all for the suggestions. It is a 66" square and now I know why I don't quilt large quilts. My throat plate just isn't big enough. Thank goodness for the walking foot. I couldn't start from too many spots in the middle because all the bulk wouldn't fit. What a pain! But it is done except for the label. I also embroidered their names in one of the corners. I hope that they like it!

I love this pattern. It comes together very quick. I think I might make a few baby quilts with it.

It was difficult centering with his name being so short. I could have gone Robert & Deborah, but they don't use those....

:lol: :lol: I probably would have put "Bob & Deb" -- even if she doesn't go by that name just to keep it simple. But then your new "aunt" may not have been too pleased if she hates that nickname :roll: :roll:

That is one pretty quilt!!! I love the shades of blue in it, and the embroidery looks fabulous. What a special gift. I know they will treasure it!
