I finally started a quilt... first one in MANY MANY years! I decided to go with a very simple pattern, so I chose diasappearing nine patch. I am using Moda's Dilly Dally and added a few more prints along with it, one of them being a very cute owl print. It's so bright and cheerful. Not a great photo... but here are my blocks so far.
I am also going to try to machine quilt it ( I think)... if I feel that I am ready for that when I finish it! But for now, I do a block or two a day and I'm enjoying it and learning as I go. I think its going to be lap size.
