    This is a quilt I made a few years back. It is hand appliqued small dogs from black and white fabrics. I used bright red for the sashing and I made a matching pillow with prairie points to go with it. I learned a lesson about using "too busy" fabrics in this quilt, the center dog top row is very hard to see. He just looks like a blob. But the center dog, center row is fine.

    nice job! Yes, fabric makes a difference in how things POP. Overall things look good, remember we are our on worst critiques. pillow is adorable!
