I had a few scrap fabrics, all from the free fabric exchange I go to (recycled showroom fabrics destined for the landfill). I saw another runner like this posted and had to try it. Thanks for the inspiration. My sister has a ton of talaveras pottery (bold yellows, reds, blues) and this will go nicely on her huge table. My second attempt at a table runner the first was wavy as all heck (sigh) forgot in my zeal to watch the grains I think and steamed (which I just learned is a BAD idea via the forums). Lessons learned.

Thanks, I just made two others for.. the fun of making them I think.. different patterns.. I just had all that fabric that was given to me so I decided I would make a few more. Maybe gifts for the donation bank here for those who won't receive a gift this year.. keeps me busy and maybe will make someone smile :)
