Deer River quilt- quilted today
these snow days are killing me! can't get out to go to work- so trying to get some things done & doing alright i guess.
this quilt *top* has been done for a long time- folded, living under the quilting table....waiting ever so patiently to finally get it's turn on the frame- well, at 6 am this morning when the news station reported the schools were closed again today i decided.....today is the day to get it done! and i did- by the time i finished it (around 3pm) my hands were pretty cramped up & my back/legs were complaining that i should have taken more breaks-but hey- it's quilted & unloaded- now the binding & i can mark another UFO off the list-and i realized that there is only 1 left under the table waiting....this dog-gone winter sticks around & i might just get that one done too.
this one was all stash- a couple panals i'd received over the years & scraps i pulled out i thought would work with it. i am finding it very difficult to get good *full* pictures- this one is too long- it measures 70" x 96"
i'm happy with it- and especially happy it's finally so close to being finished.

The only thing keeping me from terminal cabin fever is my quilting, but I am starting to lose patience and my mojo. Hate 90 degree days but we surely have seen enough of the white stuff. Beautiful quilt and such a good feeling to know you did something productive today. Job well done, now take a load off and enjoy a glass of wine.

I tend to do a lot of nature quilts & I made one using this same panel. I like how you did yours! I am a newbie to quilting. Here is the link to see how I did mine. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...n-t200451.html
