Just went to my first quilt retreat for MO Quilt Guild. It was F-S-S and was great fun. I took a 3 hour class on Friday to make a tool tote (4 zipper pockets, vinyl, place for pins). On Saturday I took an all day class from Karen DuMont called Party on the Block. You take the first block you make, cut it in either quarters or diagonal and reassemble them into another block.

First Block you cut up

Nice block. Unusual to see it accented with green--you usually see red with black and white. I like it!

The middle is four different blocks, 2 light on outside 2 dark on outside. Cut all four down the center from top to bottom and side to side. Swap around and Sew them back together.
