    Beautiful! How big will you make this? I just love tradional block patterns, and yours look perfect around the bird.

    From top left to right

    Arkansas, Arkansas Snow Flake,Ozark Trail
    Carpenters Star,Mocking Bird (state bird), Birds Of Paradise
    Pine tree (state tree),Arkansas Crossroad, Rocky Road to Arkansas

    It is for a state related Quilt Challenge

    Not sure yet on how big, it is 45"x45" all the blocks got sized to 15" going to keep board quiet so I can change my mind later.....LOL

    I saw another pic of either this one or a similar quilt posted somewhere earlier...really beautiful start! Thanks for sharing the names of the blocks - I had wondered if the bird was the state bird. Please post pictures of the finished quilt...and thanks for sharing!!
