October - Cancer awareness month
This coming week-end we're having a Girl's Night In at the Hall where we are quilting. It goes for 3 days and lots of ladies come from near and far, with caravans, tents, campervans, mattresses, etc. and spend the night in and around the Hall. Always lots of fun with exchanging UFOs or getting help to finish them, lots of new ideas not only in quilting but in craft in general. Meals are provided too, so we can enjoy ourselves with exchanging tips and tricks. We raffle quilts and other items and the proceeds of all this fun goes to Cancer Research.
This is the banner we've made of our group, decorated with beads, buttons and things. Thanks for looking!!!

Great banner! I saw a cute idea in a planter of pink flowers this week. They had used a pink pool noodle to make the cancer ribbon above the flowers. I though what a great idea and it will stay nice looking in all weather too.

Looks so cute! I am breast cancer survivor as of being diagnosed a year ago 6-19-2012. Wishing you well in raising the funds for the research. Prayers from the Gulf of Mexico, Corpus Christi, Texas. Sounds like a lot of fun (d).
