I'm delighted to report that I just picked up this quilt from the long-armer's last week! I need to bind it, but I still have a week until its recipient arrives. ;)

For the cute little story of this quilt, please read the first post of this thread:

http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-128650-1.htm

The pattern is Missouri Star Quilt Co's strip tube piecing tutorial for a "Summer in the Park" quilt. My friend lives in California, her favorite colors are blue and green, and she's very involved in the state parks because of her Mom. This jelly roll from Tuesday Morning was just perfect for her!

Here's the link to the pattern video, in case anyone's interested. It goes together so quickly you wouldn't believe it:

Picking up the quilt from the long-armer! Kelley does such fantastic work and has a lovely display rack. I just need to bind it! She hadn't realized she would be caught in the picture.

A very nature/plant/vine quilting motif in dark blue. The batting is made of recycled plastic bottles melted and woven into polyester fiber.
