I just got back from my very first quilt show. My head is still spinning! I picked up an Olfa Circle Cutter and a new pad. I also picked up a plastic sheet with grid lines marked on it. My DH is going to make me a cutting table and adhere it to the top. I tried out a Tin Lizzy and three other quilting machines. My husband wants to get me one soon! I am so glad he went with me now. Out of all of the long arms I liked the Tin Lizzie the best. Here are some pictures, I hope you can see them OK.
    Big Winner

    So Colorful

This is the back "Aphrodite Quilt" It is a whole cloth quilt. Quilted with gold thread on light cream fabric. It was too big to get a picture of the whole quilt.

    OK, more pictures....

I love southwest themes and colors

I wish I could show more detail. Quilter fussy cut paisley designs and appliqued them to the quilt.

    Butterfly Quilt

You can tell a lot of work went into this. Some of the fabrics were hand dyed.

AND more. No, I didn't take pictures of every quilt in the show LOL!

Sorry it is sideways. I am still learning how to post pics.

This picture does not do justice to this quilt. It has a copper glow to it.

My 28 year old son was fascinated with this quilt.

Beautiful, beautiful white quilt. Quilt shows are inspiring aren't they?

They have my blood going for sure. I am more of a beginner quilt and I was afraid I would be intimidated but I was blown away, inspired, motivated etc. There is another one in June and I already have it on my calendar.

I'm voting for the quilt of people at a quilt show and the tumbling blocks, but all the quilts are great. Thanks for showing.
