This is my 11 year old granddaughter, Alanna, with her first quilt that she made for Quilts 4 Kids as part of her Girl Scout Bronze Award. She completed the top tonight.

You must be SOO proud of her. I know I would be.
She did a beautiful job, and although she may never know who got her quilt, to a kid in a bad situation, that quilt may mean the world. She's a good quilter, and her heart is in the right place.
    We need more like her.

Looks fantastic Alanna, good for you. I'm glad you were working on a Scout badge. I remember my years as a Brownie and a Girl Scout. I was a coleader for years with my daughter's troop. Keep up the good work young lady. Be sure to show us your next quilt.
