This is my 11 year old granddaughter, Alanna, with her first quilt that she made for Quilts 4 Kids as part of her Girl Scout Bronze Award. She completed the top tonight.

Please tell her I said "Very good job. " It is wonderful seeing the next generation sewing and quilting. And for charity!!!!

You must be SOO proud of her. I know I would be.
She did a beautiful job, and although she may never know who got her quilt, to a kid in a bad situation, that quilt may mean the world. She's a good quilter, and her heart is in the right place.
We need more like her.
