This is a quilt top I just completed for DS for Christmas. Now, I don't have the first clue as to how to quilt it. I'm sure hoping someone can give me an idea or two. I love doing the big stitch and think this one would be appropriate for big stitching. I found this pattern in McCall's Aug. Sept. issue.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Don't have any ideas on quilting, but LOVE the quilt. You did a great job.

    Sandy,

I love your quilt. I would like your permission to copy it? I have been hoarding animal print fabric until the right pattern came along.

Will you be longarming this quilt? If so, there is a pantogram with big paw prints that would be good for this quilt.

I recently finished a faux fur animal print throw with big blocks like this but it didn't require any quilting.

Love what you've done with all those fabrics....great job! A couple of days ago someone here was looking for a pattern to use with all different animal prints, and this one is lovely!

Deciding on a quilting design is a challenge for me, but here I would say an overall meander would be good.

Good luck and be sure to post your finished project....thanks for sharing!

I'm not a long arm quilter, but wonder if I could meander by hand. Possible or not? Paw prints would be great, but I hate having to start and stop threads.

Kathy, the pattern I used is in the Aug. Sept issue of McCalls Quick Quilts mag. I'm sorry to say it's not mine to offer, but if you need the magaine, I'll be glad to send it to you. Pattern calls for 11 fat qtrs of various skin prints. And I even have extras of that if you need a few more as I got 1/2 yd. of each one. Just let me know if you need the mag.

I would thing something sort of abstract would be good. Maybe something that flows and simulates wind or water flowing. Love the quilt.
