    Default 'Hand' Selvedge Quilt

I spent the Easter break at our fishing cabin in the highlands 'playing' with my selvedge stash. This 40" x 36" quilt was made with the number selvedges, I still have quite a few still to use. I am really happy with how it came up finished.

I am also working on a series of 'Australia' quilts, this one is just a flimsy at present but is made with selvedges and the background is using scraps of leftover blues fabrics. I have also done another using all selvedges from indigenous fabrics and the background is an indigenous designed blue fabric.

    Thanks for looking.

Wowzers Lynnie, those are both cool. What an amazing use of something most people just throw away.

Wonderfully unique idea - now I'm mad that I've always thrown the selvages away!
