Ready for Halloween...well almost
Yesterday, my DH brought me to a consignment store where he told me there was lots of fabric. I found some layer cake squares in a Halloween patterns and some fat quarters for $.50 . Came home and saw a Halloween wallhanging kit in a catalog that I really liked so I thought maybe I could try my hand at recreating it. Good thing I love math because I used it to create this piece.
I also used my Cricut to cut out the letters. Last weekend I saw the Brother Scan and Cut that was nice but out of my price range. I did buy some fabric sheet adhesive and used it to cut the fabric with my Cricut. Next time will use iron on stabilizer instead of the plastic adhesive. The plastic film that is left on the fabric after cutting was too difficult to remove without fraying the fabric.
Overall, it cost me $3.00 and a weekend to make it. LOL
I plan to piece the back with the left over fabrics.
