    I love our inspectors too (2 of the 8 in the photo). I did not have any problem with the extra layer. I did have a problem with getting my circles perfectly centered and/or perfectly cut into quarters. I ended up trimming each one a little bit to get them sized alike.

    When you pieced the blocks, having the 2 layers of fabric : circle + background, Did you use the same 1/4" seam allowance? I didn't know if you found extra bulk from the 2 layers and used a wider seam allowance. Thank you!

    My LA friend in S. Ga. keeps passing along her scraps. I think they must multiply like bunnies at her house; then turn around and do it again at my house. I can't see that my scrap pile is any smaller. But I do love doing these. It is very freeing to just use everything without having to select just a few coordinating colors.
