Well, after working for two weeks non-stop on the mariner's compass, I didn't even want to look at my sewing machine for a while, lol! So anyway, I finally have something to show you all!
I'm working on a few items to put in a Christmas craft fair next month, here's the first one done :)

BTW, I know my points aren't great, but I'm not going back to fix it, lol1

this is really pretty. I love it and the fabrics. And, I can't always make all my points match, but I think it looks great.

Next one I do, I will choose a paper pieced star, at least my points match up well on those.

Alternatively, I could have cheated a bit and put some narrow sashing in between my blocks, and we would have been none the wiser :P
