    I had heart surgery 7 weeks ago and this is the quilt top I've made while home recovering. I've never pieced curves before and these colors are not typical for me so it was a new adventure - which is exactly what I intended it to be. And I just love this top. I'm going to quilt it using circles (or possibly spirals) and wavy lines. I think it will be named Autumn Equinox. I'll post it when it's done but am excited to be felling well again and quilting . . . so I wanted to share!

    I see you are from Tehachapi. I used to live in Lancaster and every fall we would drive to Tehachapi to get apples. I really miss that where we live now.
