If you love those red/white and blue/white quilts of old like I do, then you'll love this one! For this mini, I mixed these fabrics together: Daisie Kingdom, Moda, Robert Kaufman, Valentines, Christmas, feedsacks, vintage and new. I am trying out border treatments today so included pics of them. The pattern was posted earlier on this thread:

I cut out 15 more reds than I needed, but at least it gave me an opportunity to pick and choose. The final layout was not the one I had wanted, but somehow it got sewn together that way. Oh well....here it is... :- enjoy! D

Oh how cute, n2! I'm seriously considering making another one--love the red/white. Did you know the March Doll quilt swap is a red and white theme? This would fit in just right.

I think you should go for it!! It's a great FAST pattern!! I like that part. I'm so inundated with blue fabrics, it looks like that will be the next one for me. I've always wanted a blue/white or red/white themed quilt so this satisfies wonderfully plus it's a great reference point of shades of colors you have on hand! Much easier to look at the mini than look for the fabric~!! LOL!

:-D 8-) ;)
