A customer dropped this quilt off to me a week ago. She has had it in a closet for more then 20 years. Her Mom how has pasted made it from that kit that has the blue dots all over it. The blue dots would tell you where to do the cross stitch and in this kit it told me where to do the quilting. This is a full size quilt and it still has alllllll those blue dots all over it. (I don't know if now that it has been quilted and can be washed, that they well come out.) Does anyone still make these any more?

    The entire quilt.

I would try to wash it on gentle cycle. The blue dots are suppose to wash out. My mom has done several like this and the dots washed out for her. It's a beautiful quilt!

I have several pkgs of preprinted blocks. I don't want to hand do them though if i ever get to finishing them. I hope to somehow do them on my machine. or else they will end up going to charity.

That is beautiful and your quilting really enhances the handwork.

It would be worth trying vinegar on those blue dots (with a soft toothbrush). Might work......

I remember those kits, but wouldn't make one today!

It sure finished up beautifully, though. The quilting really helps; gorgeous!

My mother made one of these for each of her grandchildren before she passed away. I have them put away until they show some interest. I am VERY worried about washing these. I am afraid the cross stitching will come loose.
